Main reason I miss living in Whitman is the Venus Cafe. I go there every time I go back east from Phoenix, Az. I went there my first day back in Whitman.

This is the best pizza place ever. We travel almost an hour just for it- family tradition. So many different, yummy options. We love the Dunns special and Oreo. They treat you like family here, my family has never had any bad experiences in the 40 years we have been going here.

Awful! I went to pick up pizza with my 8 year old daughter in the takeout area ( not the bar) and someone in the kitchen kept yelling and swearing at an employee! She had to block her ears! I will never go back again!

I go for pizza take out. Every one's taste buds are different cause the sauce on pizza. They are bar pizzas.Definitely try it once and make up your mind. Fast take out

The pizza was really good, a lot of interesting toppings. The service lacked however, our server Michelle had an attitude and seemed like she couldn't really be bothered dealing with people. She should not be in the food service and just stay at home with her 15 cats.

My favorite pizza place in massachusetts!!Only thing I would recommend is they update on their menu prices. A few things were 2.00 more than I thought.

Spent way too much for the quality to be honest. How do you run out of pepperoni when your most popular dish is pizza? How do you run out of mozzarella sticks? Disappointed really. Will give credit to the one pepperoni pizza we were able to get. It was good, not the best we have ever had. A bit too burnt for my liking and the pizza looked sloppy. Was not a fan of the wings or mac n cheese bites.

Bar pizza is excellent

Greasy overpriced food with terrible service. Gotta love it when an employee cuts through everyone waiting for their orders so he can get his food and head out with his friends. The other Venus is great, but steer clear of this one.

Good atmosphere they only have bar sized pizzas well and a few salads and some apps so if your looking for bigger not for you. but for pizza I got a pepperoni languisca well done it was delicious the bartender was great drinks were fairly priced all in all I'd go back

If you are a connoisseur of Massachusetts South Shore style bar pizza, you must not miss the opportunity to visit Venus Cafe in Whitman. It was delicious 15 years ago, and it is unbelievably scrumptious today. Good folks there too.

One of the best pizza places on the South Shore. Can't go wrong with any of their pies. It's a cool place, old school feel inside, and service is excellent.

We usually go for the half-price pizza specials so I don't go there as often as I'd like , but rhey're still the best among all the very good pizza places within 30 min drive of where I live.

Food was great, atmosphere is typical bar scene. There was a LOT of loud clanging noises from the back.

The Venus has kind of gone downhill over the years, but still has better bar style pizza than the majority of other places around, not to mention fairly quick service. The only real negatives about this place are that in the dining room they only use plastic silverware and if you want to get water they refuse to use tap and only serve bottled. Also, the parking can occasionally get full.

I just had the new Boston Cream Pizza!!! O.M.G. It was so good words just can't describe it! This is a must have. You need to get one fresh out of the oven. The warm center and crisp crust are out of this world!!!
